In the past, good products alone ensured sales. But today's global manufacturing faces drastic changes: rapid market shifts, increased competition, towards personalization and customization, yet without the ability to quickly adapt production conditions. Coupled with low birth rates and labor shortages, the Fourth Industrial Revolution sweeps across the manufacturing industry. Countries have been actively deploying smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0. How can Taiwan respond?

But what exactly is 'Smart Manufacturing'? It is not only about technological upgrades but also about integrating thinking starting from pain points. In the examples that can be referred to for smart manufacturing, which approaches and methodologies can be emulated?

This AI Day themed lecture on smart manufacturing, sponsored by the Ministry of Economic Affairs' Industrial Bureau and organized by the Institute for Information Industry and Taiwan AI School Alumni Association, will feature industry leaders and experts sharing the latest developments and successful case studies in smart manufacturing, enhancing cooperation and injecting new vitality into Taiwan’s manufacturing sector.

Five distinguished speakers will guide attendees in smart manufacturing and AI, covering both technical and practical aspects, exploring the latest developments in applications. Besides rich themed lectures, there will also be opportunities to interact and exchange ideas with AI enthusiasts from all walks, experiencing the joy of learning together. We hope to inspire creativity and vitality in the application of AI, supporting and interacting with each other.
