Introduction

This project follows the vision of the Executive Yuan's 'Taiwan AI Action Plan' and is aligned with the 'Six Core Strategic Industries' announced by the President during the inauguration speech on May 20, 109. It continues to strengthen the development of Taiwan's information and digital industries, linking supply and demand resources through the application service development environment (AI HUB platform) to promote inter-disciplinary and inter-industrial collaboration. This will drive the intelligent development of industries. The project aims to establish Industry AI Promotion Work Groups (SIG) nationwide, to assist in the intelligent upgrading and transformation of industries, and to create a blueprint for AI development, facilitating the practical application of AI in industries and promoting digital transformation.

Application Regulations

一、 申請資格

1. Eligibility: Applying organizations must be guilds, unions, or associations registered as legal entities in accordance with national regulations, or other entities authorized by governing authorities. It is essential that applicant organizations have significant influence in promoting industry development, assisting industries in quickly advancing to intelligent upgrading and transformation.

2. Associations must have normal operational activities and be duly recorded by their governing authorities (according to the Ministry of the Interior's regulations on abnormal operational activities, including not holding at least two board of directors or supervisory board meetings within a year, not holding at least one general member meeting within a year, not holding a general members meeting for four consecutive years, chairperson's term expired without re-election, etc.).

3. There must be at least two personnel assigned to help implement the industry AI adoption.

 

Topics for Application

In line with the overall direction of the industry AI promotion program, applicants are encouraged to introduce artificial intelligence technology to develop intelligent solutions focusing on processes, equipment, services, and other applications. Applicant should combine field trials to establish intelligent application cases. The application topics for SIG include 'Intelligent Processing', 'Intelligent Equipment', 'Intelligent Services', and 'Intelligent Software'.

1. Intelligent Processing: Assist in incorporating AI technology into manufacturing processes to achieve benefits such as labor savings, reduced inventory pressures, and stable, rapid shipping. Examples include quality inspection, automated scheduling, and predictive maintenance.

2. Intelligent Equipment: Optimize the performance and functions of various equipment through algorithms and cloud services, including enhancing computational speed, identification capabilities, and automation features. Examples include video detection and environmental sensing hardware.

3. Intelligent Services: Address operational needs in service domains through AI, enhancing service efficiency and quality, solving labor shortages, or creating new service models. Examples include personalized recommendations, content generation, and customer service robots.

4. Intelligent Software: For system integrators needing upgrades, introduce machine learning, image recognition, and other AI-related technologies, or develop new application solutions for various fields. Examples include ERP, CRM, and other operational/BI applications.

Promotion Content

1. In line with the promotion plan, provide a list of demand-oriented businesses for site visits, and work with the service team to clarify the needs for industry intelligence.

2. Provide industry ecosystem information, and collaborate with the service team to draft an AI application development blueprint for the industry domain.

3. Conduct sharing or discussion events.

4. Cooperate with the promotion plan to execute related tasks on the AI HUB platform.

Notices

1. Regulations concerning personal data: The applying organization, while implementing this project, must collect, process, and use personal data in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act and other relevant laws.

2. The documents submitted for the application, whether reviewed and passed or not, or voluntarily withdrawn, will not be returned.

3. All application documents should be typed. In case review bodies find inconsistencies, unclear content, obvious typing errors, or signature mistakes in the proposal documents, they may notify the applying organization to clarify the correct content.

4. Review committee will review based on the application presentation; the applying organization must personally attend the review meeting and present. Absence without valid reason will be considered a waiver.
